October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to give it a kick start, West Linn High School has decked the halls with pink, pink and more pink. Sarah McKay, junior, has taken charge of the leadership classes in taking Breast Cancer Awareness to a new level.

Grace Emerson, junior, and Hannah Morford, Emily Gibson and Nerissa Hanawa, seniors, display their student spirit and sport the color pink during last week’s game against Tualatin. Tonight, for the football game against Canby, students will be decked out in pink shirts, pink paw prints and other pink items to support Breast Cancer Awareness. Throughout the month, WLHS has engaged in a campaign to raise awareness and funds for research.
